GoAJ&K and BISP signed MoU for Cooperation to use NSER for Validation of Data

The Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to enhance the effectiveness of its Social Protection Assistance program. Under this MoU, AJK will use the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) managed by BISP for data validation and verification of applications for social assistance. This collaboration aims to ensure that financial support is accurately targeted and reaches the most deserving and vulnerable populations, including widows, orphans, differently-abled persons, and other marginalized groups. The MoU also establishes a framework for data sharing and collaboration between AJK and BISP, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and credibility. Both parties will work together to develop and implement best practices in social protection, enhancing welfare outcomes across AJK.
